If you lift the mouse of the tablet and put it back, it should work normally.
Wacom replied to Jan on this matter as follows: "This a bug in the new driver. That is, you must take the mouse off the tablet for the system to go into energy saver." Further, they still haven't fixed the sleep problem with the tablet. It actually takes extra 'force' to break it away. It acts as if the cursor is 'magnetized' and stuck to the edge of the screen. It then stays there until you move the mouse several inches on the tablet. When you move the cursor to the edge of the screen, it nearly disappears. Jan Costenbader adds: "What a mess this release is. With this pre-release, the mouse pointer jumps back to the last Wacom position if moved by the trackball." Before I could use them at the same time without any problems. Manfred Zorn adds: "This new release also hogs the mouse pointer: I use a trackball on the left and the Wacom tablet on the right. A reader replies: "The Read Me file clearly states that 10.1 is required for it to work."
